4。lostprophets-A Town Called Hypocrisy


当重金属摇滚走入了新的时代后，接连出现Korn、Linkin Park、Limp Bizkit等团，将Metal乐带入另一波的高潮！但是这些乐团，几乎清一色皆来自美国。Lostprophets就是一支来自英国，创作着美式的新金属乐风，没有浓厚英国腔调和雌雄莫辨嗓音的Lostprophets，由英国出发，直扑美国本土与延伸摇滚版图至全球摇滚市场！
成军于1997年由吉他手Mike Lewis与鼓手Ian Watkins着手创立，并陆续招募了第二吉他手Lee Glaze及鼓手Mike Chiplin，这样原任鼓手的Ian则转战主唱的职位，全新的队伍就在初步四人配合下进行演唱表演，精采的舞台魅力，立即吸引了相当具有权威的金属杂志Kerrang的注意，邀请他们参加伦敦的演唱表演，并获得独立厂Visible Noise的喜爱并签入旗下录制单曲，1999年加入贝斯手Stuard Richardson，隔年发行了首张唱片《The Fake Sound Of Progress》，接着与Linkin Park、Deftones、The Used等团作巡回演出，此时成员又增加一位DJ Jamie Oliver。这张唱片在2001年夏天受到美国市场的欢迎，吸引了主流厂的兴趣，并由SONY在美国发行，请来流行/摇滚界鼎鼎大名的Michael Barbiero(Guns N' Roses、Metallica、Madonna)重新混音，在短时间卖出10余万张，同时在本土英国市场则又销售挂上金唱片！征服美国市场Lostprophets，于2004年带着第二张作品《Start Something》再闯摇滚乐坛！阵阵急躁吉他声响在Ian一声令下“Go!!”，划开狂放怒放的金属气势！失序的声音频率不时夹杂在流畅多变的旋律，专辑很快得到乐迷的支持，电台点播居高不下，唱片销量也持续增长，的确是一张相当精彩的摇滚佳作！
时隔两年，Lostprophets终于发行了第三张唱片《Liberation Transmission》。唱片由著名摇滚制作人Bob Rock担纲。

5。Starlight-Muse


英国著名乐队Muse由吉他手兼主唱马休·贝拉米（Matthew Bellamy），贝斯手克里斯·沃尔斯滕霍姆（Chris Wolstenhome）和鼓手多米尼克·霍华德（Dominic Howard）组成。由于厌倦了家乡Teignmouth，Devon毫无生气的生活，这三位好朋友决定开始一起玩音乐。在Muse的这三位成员刚刚聚到一起开始正式组乐队的时候，他们都只有13岁。在不同时期，他们共用过Gothic Plague，Fixed Penalty和Rocket Baby Dolls做过乐队名。1997年，乐队正式更名为Muse，并在Dangerous Records发行首张同名EP《Muse》。1998年，Muse又发行了一张EP唱片《Muscle Museum》。此时，Muse开始得到英国评论界和歌迷的一致好评。在参加完当年纽约的CMJ音乐节之后，Muse与Maverick Records正式签约。
    随后，Muse的单曲《Cave》和《Uno》在正式专辑之前率先发行。1999年末，Muse乐队的首张录音室专辑《Showbiz》正式发行。两年之后，Muse的第二张专辑《The Origin of Symmetry》面世，其中的单曲《Hyper Music》大受欢迎。2002年6月，Muse发行了双张现场专辑《Hullabaloo Soundtrack》。2003年9月，乐队第四张专辑《Absolution》在英国发行。2004年3月，《Absolution》通过Warner Bros. 在美国发行。2004年初，为了赢得美国市场，Muse在美国举行了一次小型巡演。同年5月，Muse还参加了第五届Coachella音乐与艺术节。2006年7月，Muse第五张专辑《Black Holes and Revelations》正式发行。在发行后首周，《Black Holes and Revelations》便成功在英国专辑榜中夺冠，成为Muse连续第二张英国榜的冠军专辑。在Billboard 200专辑榜中，《Black Holes and Revelations》首周上榜排在第九位，创造了Muse乐队在美国的最好成绩。
